We are an innovative football club based at Becroft Park in Forrest Hill on Auckland’s North Shore. Due to the high membership growth we are experiencing we are looking for a Club Manager to lead our administration team and to help deliver the Club’s agreed Strategic Plan.
You will have impeccable administration and organisational skills and not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will have a proven record in managing the operational requirements of a business or in sports management.
To thrive in this role, you will need to enjoy variety, be a self-starter with impeccable time management skills as well as have the ability to multi-task, communicate well with a variety of people and be super organised. Also, as we are a small team you will be required from time to time to pitch in and help in other parts of the Club. This is a very unique role so previous Sports Club Management experience would be preferable.
Although you will have the support from the Club’s Board you will need to be comfortable with working autonomously.
We envisage the role to encompass on average 40 hours per week across a 12 month period, with weekend work during April-September a requirement. There will be peaks and troughs around busy and quiet times of the season where the hours will vary dependent on workload.
