In a great result our U17 Women's Team have won The Youth Football Development Trust U-17 tournament (ACFC) at Seddon Field in Point Chevalier.
The three day tournament ran from 17th to 19th March with 36 teams participating in both boys and girls competitions.
Our Women played outstanding football throughout the Tournament culminating with their 1-0 victory in the final over Hamilton Wanderers. The Women put in a lot of extra training leading into the Tournament and that certainly paid off. Coaches Ben Bate and Liam Quann can be justifiably proud.
The U17 Men under the guidance of Nathan Cranney also went well being knocked out in their quarter final.
